The current flagship model (Peak) has had problems with overheating and recalled all watches, and the company will no longer service the early model (B1). Intel is offering to refund all owners of both models.
Check the company website for more information on the problem and the refund offer.
My personal opinion: too bad, because I thought that Basis had the best all-round biometric tracking, including the best sleep tracking algorithm. My experience with customer service had been disappointing, but I’d hoped that they would pull through with Intel’s ownership to produce a leading product. No more.
